The service

Verano Capital Group LLC provides an AI phone answering service for businesses. The AI receptionist answers calls in the client's business name, collects caller details and sends the client a summary. It takes messages only. It does not quote prices, diagnose problems, promise appointment times, or give legal, medical or financial advice.

Emergencies

For a gas smell, carbon monoxide alarm or other danger, the receptionist tells callers to get to safety and contact 911 or their gas company. The service is not an emergency service and does not replace 911.

Call recording

Calls may be recorded and transcribed. Callers are informed of this at the start of every call.

SMS terms

Program: Verano Capital Group call summaries and service notifications for business clients.

Who receives messages: business clients who provide their mobile number and agree to receive call summaries when they sign up for the service.

Frequency: message frequency varies with call volume, typically one message per answered call.

Cost: message and data rates may apply.

Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Verano Capital Group LLC is not liable for missed or mishandled calls, undelivered messages, or indirect or consequential losses. Specific terms for paying clients are set out in each client's service agreement.
